Founder & Head Coach

Coach Ahjah is a proud product of Prince George's County.

She got her start in sports as a cheerleader for Glenarden Boys and Girls Club at the age of five. From there, she went on to run track, play soccer and softball, until ultimately landing at the sport most responsible for cultivating her as an athlete and a person—basketball.  The game of basketball afforded her the opportunity to travel the world, develop lifelong friendships, and receive a free college education from Duquesne University.

Coach Ahjah has had a long-standing passion for children. She has always desired to give back to the youth of the county responsible for creating the woman that she is today. She has served as a youth and high school basketball coach, as well as a youth soccer coach. She is currently an elementary special education teacher, where she has taught for the last six years.

Though cliche’, Coach Ahjah truly believes that children are the future and the earlier positive seeds are sowed in them, the more likely they are to become the best versions of themselves.
